PrEP and PEP Prescribed and Monitored Here
PrEP at University of Miami Health System means an ongoing clinical relationship: baseline HIV and kidney-function labs, a prescription for daily oral PrEP, and follow-up monitoring built into the same practice. PEP is similarly managed in-house, with the prescribing, adherence counseling, and transition-to-PrEP pathway handled by the same clinical team.
Herpes and Hepatitis Caught Without a Second Appointment
Leaving herpes or hepatitis off a panel means a separate referral, a second co-pay, and a gap where a diagnosis could have been made. University of Miami Health System's panel runs through herpes, hepatitis B, and hepatitis C alongside the standard four, so a single visit surfaces infections that a narrower workup would have missed entirely.

Spanish Runs Through Every Clinical Conversation
Spanish is the working language of appointments at Aventura OBGYN Associates Hallandale, which means test results, treatment options, and follow-up plans are explained directly by staff, not relayed through a secondary channel, so nothing gets lost between diagnosis and next steps.
Hepatitis C Treatment Prescribed and Monitored Here
When a hepatitis C antibody test comes back reactive, Aventura OBGYN Associates Hallandale moves into confirmatory RNA testing and, from there, into antiviral prescribing and viral-load monitoring. The full treatment arc managed within the same practice rather than handed off.
Herpes and Hepatitis Testing Alongside the Core Panel
Beyond gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis, and HIV, the clinic runs herpes serotyping and both hepatitis B and C testing at the same visit, each requiring its own specimen type and interpretation, so the diagnostic picture is complete without scheduling separate appointments elsewhere.

French and Haitian Creole Spoken by Staff
Many clinics in South Florida offer a single Spanish option and leave it there. Community Care Resources of Florida conducts care directly in Haitian Creole and French alongside Spanish (spoken by staff, not patched in) which shapes every clinical conversation from intake through treatment.
PrEP at Community Care Resources of Florida means the prescribing clinician, the follow-up labs for kidney function and HIV status, and the adherence counseling all happen within the same clinic. Not coordinated across separate providers. PEP is likewise prescribed and monitored on-site, with medication adherence education built into the ongoing care.

Every Service at LifeLine Carries Zero Cost
When care comes with a price tag, people delay, and delayed treatment turns a treatable infection into a longer, harder road. At LifeLine Health, every service, from testing through treatment to prevention counseling, is provided at no fee, so cost never becomes the reason someone leaves without care.
Haitian Creole and Spanish Are Clinical Languages Here
When a diagnosis lands in a language someone only partially follows, critical details (dosing instructions, treatment timelines, follow-up needs) get lost, and gaps in care follow. LifeLine Health delivers services directly in Haitian Creole and Spanish, with interpretation available for other languages, so nothing clinical gets lost between words.
PrEP and PEP Both Managed On-Site
PrEP requires the kind of ongoing clinical relationship (regular HIV testing, kidney function monitoring, refill cycles) that only works when it's managed in one place. LifeLine Health in Hollywood prescribes and monitors both PrEP and PEP on-site, including PrEP coverage for uninsured patients, keeping prevention continuous rather than episodic.

Every Service Here Runs at No Cost
Whether you're managing PrEP, treating a bacterial STI on the spot, or getting vaccinated against hepatitis A or B, Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood extends that same no-fee structure to every service on its menu. A standing arrangement for anyone paying cash without a regular provider behind them.
Spanish and Interpretation Available at This Clinic
Many clinics leave non-English speakers to navigate a care visit with ad-hoc support at best. At Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, Spanish is spoken on staff and interpretation services cover additional languages, so clinical conversations (about exposure history, treatment plans, and prevention) happen directly.
Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood prescribes and manages both PrEP and PEP directly: meaning the medications and the clinical oversight they require are handled within the same practice, and for uninsured patients, PrEP coverage is built into the fee structure rather than contingent on outside assistance.

Free Extends Past the Test to Every Service
Sliding-scale clinics typically zero out the test itself while the follow-up visit, treatment, or counseling session carries a separate charge. At Benjamin Wellness Center, no service on the menu (testing, STI treatment, hepatitis B and C treatment, PrEP, PEP, vaccines) generates a bill.
French, Spanish, and Tagalog Spoken at Every Visit
When a clinic can't conduct the conversation in your language, a follow-up appointment gets missed or a treatment course goes unfinished. The gap is clinical, not just logistical. Benjamin Wellness Center delivers care directly in French, Spanish, and Tagalog, keeping every step of diagnosis, treatment, and adherence counseling intact.
PrEP and PEP Available as Ongoing Prevention Tools
Benjamin Wellness Center prescribes both PrEP and PEP on-site, meaning ongoing HIV prevention is managed within the same practice that handles testing and STI treatment. No separate specialist, no interrupted care.

Every Service Priced at Zero Dollars
Fee-based clinics routinely carve out exceptions (certain labs, follow-up visits, counseling sessions) where the sliding scale quietly bottoms out above zero. At Broward Community and Family Health Centers, no service carries a remaining balance; the entire scope of care, from initial testing through treatment, is provided at no cost.
Broward Community and Family Health Centers in Hollywood holds clinical staff fluent in Haitian Creole and Spanish: meaning medication instructions, counseling, and treatment decisions happen in the language a patient actually uses to make medical choices, without relay or delay at any point in the visit.

Reading these numbers: reported case rates only count infections that were actually tested for and diagnosed, so they track local screening effort as much as true spread: a higher rate can reflect more testing, a lower one less. Either way, most STIs cause no symptoms, so treat the figures above as context rather than a verdict, and test on the CDC's schedule regardless of how your area looks.

Broward County recorded 32.9 new HIV diagnoses per 100,000 (2023), against 22.7 statewide and 13.7 nationally. Among Broward County residents living with HIV, 96.2% know their status · 78.9% are in care · 72.2% are virally suppressed. Early, routine testing is what moves these numbers: it is the entry point to PrEP, treatment, and viral suppression.

Pregnant or planning to be?Congenital syphilis is the fastest-rising STI: what to test, and when
Congenital syphilis, passed from parent to baby in pregnancy, is the fastest-rising STI in the country. U.S. cases climbed from 2,163 in 2020 to 3,882 in 2023. It is almost entirely preventable: the CDC recommends a syphilis test at the first prenatal visit, and every clinic and lab listed for Broward County tests for syphilis.

Renters and owners split almost evenly along Federal Highway and the blocks feeding into Highland Lakes, and for the younger adults navigating that near-even divide, a $1,257 monthly rent leaves little room for discretionary spending on health visits that feel optional until they aren't. With fewer than one in six households clearing six figures, out-of-pocket costs register differently here than in wealthier coastal communities nearby, and that cost sensitivity shapes how people weigh routine screening against other monthly obligations. Hallandale Beach's household structure tells a related story: an average home holds more than three people, and nearly four in ten adults are married, meaning sexual-health decisions rarely affect just one person.
Young adults in their late teens and twenties, a group for whom chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis rates climb sharply, are building those households right now, some for the first time, and the conditions that make testing feel accessible matter more during that phase than almost any other. The options listed on this page serve residents across Broward, and several are reachable via US 1 or East Hallandale Beach Boulevard without a long detour. For the sizable share of residents whose work schedules run irregular hours, a clinic that sits along a road you already travel to reach a grocery store or the Ives Estates Park corridor converts a skipped appointment into a kept one without demanding a separate trip across the county.

Confidentiality & consent in FloridaMinor consent and partner treatment (EPT) under state law, plus how to test privately
Two things that actually depend on Florida law: who can consent, and whether partners can be treated without their own visit. Everything else about testing privately is the same nationwide (see below).
Can a minor consent on their own?
In Florida, a minor of any age can consent to confidential STI testing and treatment on their own, no parental permission is required.
Can my partner be treated too? (EPT)
Florida permits Expedited Partner Therapy (EPT): if you test positive for chlamydia or gonorrhea, your provider can give you medication (or a prescription) to pass to your partner, no separate exam or appointment needed for them.
Keeping a test private works the same in every state. Whether an STD test shows on insurance (the EOB), how to test anonymously, and self-pay options that leave no insurance trail don’t change by location.
